ABSTRACT
The article presents the problems relating to environmental pollution by combustion products of fossil fuels in energy production for heating and preparing domestic hot water. It is estimated possibility to reduce emissions by improving the energy performance of buildings. Special attention was paid to the limitation the greenhouse effect.
