Privacy Policy (GDPR) for Authors and Reviewers
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, as well as the Act on the protection of personal data:
- The Administrator of the personal data of Authors and Reviewers is Czestochowa University of Technology, with its registered office in Czestochowa, ul. J.H. Dąbrowskiego 69, 42-201 Czestochowa, Poland (GDPR CUT)
- The Data Protection Officer may be contacted by e-mail at iodo@pcz.pl or by phone at +48 34 325 04 71, +48 34 325 04 18 in all matters relating to the processing of personal data by the Controller and the exercise of rights related to such processing.
- Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to achieve the purposes related to the publication of articles in the journal Construction of Optimized Energy Potential.
- Each person whose data are processed has the right to obtain information on whether their personal data are being processed and the right to access their content, as well as the right to rectify or delete them, transfer them to another controller, restrict their processing, object to their processing, withdraw consent to their processing at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal, as well as obtain information about the source of personal data if the data were not collected directly from the person concerned.
- Personal data entrusted to the Editors of the journal Construction of Optimized Energy Potential will be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out tasks related to the evaluation and publication of articles in the journal.
- The planned period of storage of the entrusted personal data is the period of activity of the journal.
- Recipients of personal data will be only those entities to which the Controller is obliged to provide data under applicable law, and entities processing personal data on behalf of the Controller in connection with the performance of tasks entrusted to them regarding the operation of the journal under relevant agreements, including IT service providers.
- Entrusted personal data will not be transferred to other institutions, organisations, or business entities in Poland or abroad.
- Entrusted personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
- Every person has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they consider that the processing of their personal data by Czestochowa University of Technology violates the applicable provisions of the GDPR (Personal Data Protection Office
