ABSTRACT
The article presents the commitments made by Poland in the European Union for increasing energy efficiency, includes average annual final energy consumption for heating in Poland and maximum values of heat transfer coefficients applicable in Poland at different times. Discusses the type and level of thermal requirements for educational buildings. Indicate areas of possible actions to take to improve energy efficiency in school buildings.
