ABSTRACT
This paper discusses one of the most effective ways of producing domestic hot water (DHW) based on air-source heat pump with an integrated tank. The principle of operating such equipment is also presented in a hot water installation. Moreover, the experimental set-up is described and values of measurements and reported. In the experimental part, measurements were conducted with the aim of determining the parameters representing the energy and economic efficiency of the proposed solution. The obtained values were compared to the values gained during three tapping cycles which were similar to the recommended reference in EN 16147.
