ABSTRACT
Further civilization and economic development of mankind will be associated with an increase in energy consumption. Due to the constant growth in demand for energy, it is believed thatone of its important sources will be the saving and efficient use of energy. The paper presents the predicted energy effects of activities which reduce energy demand for heating of residential buildings to a level of 65÷70 kWh (m2year). According to the calculations, it is possible to reduce the energy demand for heating in residential buildings by about 67% compared to 2011. Energy efficient activities will reduce the overall air pollutant emissions too.
