ABSTRACT
Selected examples of modern buildings show the use of materials, energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources. Analysis of contemporary architectural projects concerned issues related to the adaptation of contemporary architecture to the changing climate. They were the most important criteria influencing the building, both because of the changing climate, as well as the applicable legal provisions. Examples have been selected for contemporary architecture in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Italy. Photo documentation was done locally. We present the results of analyzes of the use of environmentally friendly materials and technologies.
