ABSTRACT
Many regions of the country and especially rural areas are exposed to power outages. This is mainly due to outdated energy infrastructure and occurring overloads in periods of peak demand for electricity. In order to ensure the basic functioning of a households in emergency conditions, additional power systems based on solar energy are used. The work presents the concept of photovoltaic micro-solar system with energy storage in batteries that allows for emergency supply of basic electrical appliances in the household. Based on the adopted assumptions and the required energy demand, the basic elements of the installation were selected, the investment costs were determined and the simple payback time (SPBT) was calculated.
