ABSTRACT
The aim of the article is to compare selected tools supporting environmental impact assessments
of construction projects in Poland and in the Czech Republic. Key functionalities of
these tools were analyzed to help understand both similarities and differences in the two
countries’ approaches to developing solutions that comply with the legal requirements while
also supporting investors in preparing environmental documentation. Recommendations for
improvement were also included in the article.
