ABSTRACT
The article under discussion herein sets forth a discussion of the utilisation of the BIM model
in the context of risk management on construction sites. The authors present the use of
information contained in the model for the identification and analysis of risk, as well as for
graphical visualisation of risk responses in the form of equipment or collective protection
measures. The article demonstrates the potential for automating risk analysis activities through
the utilisation of If/Then analyses, Monte Carlo simulations and Python programming.
